Vigier Castle, dating from the 17th century, is a historic residence located near the old town of Soleure. Originally a summer house, it was transformed and expanded over the centuries, notably by Captain Wallier and François-Louis Arzillon de Berville, treasurer of the French embassy. The castle is distinguished by its architecture with four turrets and a magnificent French garden, enhanced by centuries-old yew trees. It now houses the Bill de Vigier museum and bears witness to the history of the Vigier family, owners of the estate since 1822, as well as the close ties between Soleure and France. Wikipedia
